Answers about Android, Wi-Fi and SIM, subscriptions, payment review, IP rotation, access and privacy.
Do I need my own phone?
Yes. MASKPROXY manages Android phones you own or are authorized to use. It does not include a phone, a SIM card, a mobile data plan or a ready-made pool of third-party IP addresses.
Can I use Wi-Fi as well as a SIM?
Yes. Choose Wi-Fi or an available SIM in the Android app, not in the web dashboard. The phone’s actual exit network determines the IP and whether the connection is cellular. Device and Android restrictions can affect SIM selection.
Does every rotation give me a new IP?
No. IP allocation belongs to your network provider. Cellular rotation requires supported device permissions and active cellular egress. A carrier can retain the same IP, and rotation can briefly interrupt connections.
When does my subscription start?
A new phone subscription starts after payment is approved. Payments are reviewed manually; submitting a transaction identifier alone does not activate service. Your order shows the asset, network, receiving address and amount.
What about cancellation or a payment problem?
Contact support with your order reference. Cancellation, duplicate payments, disputes and refund requests are reviewed through support under the service terms and applicable mandatory rights. No automatic refund is promised. Payment terms ↗
Is all proxy traffic encrypted?
Different parts of the connection have different protection. Dashboard HTTPS, phone transport, destination HTTPS and VPN encryption are distinct. Ordinary HTTP/SOCKS client links are not automatically encrypted. Use the documented encrypted transport where required. Encrypted transport guide ↗
What should I check before I begin?
You need a compatible Android phone, a stable Internet connection and permission to use both. Allow the background and battery settings requested by the app. Root is not a general requirement for proxy traffic; some radio-control and rotation actions need additional supported permissions. Ask support about your model if unsure.
What information does MASKPROXY store?
Account information, phone and connection settings, operational diagnostics, billing records and support conversations are processed to operate the service. Read the privacy policy for access, retention, providers and deletion requests. Privacy policy ↗
